The following responsibilities are part of the job of a construction director:

  • Controlling a project's logistical needs
  • Giving tasks to more experienced colleagues and their teams
  • Reporting on progress at regular meetings with clients, third parties, and managers
  • Defining goals, tasks, and obligations for all employees under supervision
  • Review project plans on a regular basis to make sure work stays on schedule.
  • Updating the board and clients on the status of the project

  • Evaluating performance in light of established standards
  • Ensuring the performance of contractual commitments

Qualifications We Offer

The Chartered Institute of Building (CIB) offers foundation degrees, higher national diplomas (HNDs), and undergraduate degrees (CIOB) from which you could do any. Building studies, surveying, estimates, civil or structural engineering, and project management are a few topics that are pertinent.

Typically, you'll require:

1–2 A levels, or a comparable number (foundation degree or HND)
2–3 A levels or the equivalent (undergraduate degree).
