Plasterer

The plasterer makes walls and ceilings smooth and ready for decorating. They are skilled in applying different kinds of plaster to inside walls and ceilings to create outstanding finishes

• Applying coats of plaster to interior walls, ceilings and partitions of buidlings to produce a finished surface. 
• Roughening undercoat to provide a bond for succeeding coats of plaster. 
• Creating decorative textures and finishes to internal walls.

• Newly trained plasterers can earn in the region of £20,000. 

• Trained with experience plasterers can earn in the region of £28,000- £36,000 and up to £40,000.

Apprenticeship in Plastering which currently includes a Diploma and NVQ at Level 2 or 3 (Or Scottish Equivalent)
