Why did you choose to take up an apprenticeship?

After looking into the apprenticeship programmes on offer I felt that this would be a better way to learn a trade gaining qualifications whilst putting the learning into practice.

What attracted you to the industry?

I have a lot of family and friends working in the industry and seeing the work they do really interested me.

What attracted you to Crest Nicholson?

It’s a local company, so means I could work locally to where I live. After looking into the company I was really happy with what I saw and thought it was a great place to work.

Are you enjoying the programme?

Yes.

What is the best part of the programme?

The mix of learning at college and practical work on site is really good and everyone on site is great to work with. I couldn’t ask for more.

What do you like most about working at Crest Nicholson?

Everything from being on site and dealing with my employers to attending company events. I like everything about the company and I couldn’t fault it.

Would you recommend other people follow the same route?

Definitely.

What are your career aspirations when the course finishes?

I would like to get a job with contractors in Woolston. In the future I would like to own my own company. I have another 4 months on level 2 and then I want to complete my level 3.
