Introduction
A team clearing the ground in preparation for a new construction project includes demolition workers. Before demolishing or dismantling the unsafe or out-of-date buildings and structures, they strip out fittings, remove hazardous chemicals, and salvage anything that can be put to use using anything from simple hand tools to massive plant and machinery.

A demolition operative's employment entails the following responsibilities:

Qualifications We Offer
Although there are no formal requirements to work as a demolition operative, there are a number of paths you might take to get there. You can finish an apprenticeship or apply for a job directly with an employer.
People that are passionate, willing to learn, and obedient are more in demand by employers in the demolition industry.
To work on a demolition site, you must have a Certificate of Competence in Demolition Operations (CCDO) card.
